We have two house-dogs and four house-cats. You can keep the door to your room shut, if you do not want furry "visitors", but it is their home too, and they do have access to the rest of the house most of the time.
NOTE: that is a single-bed mattress in the photograph. Teddy is a 90-lb. black lab. Maximus is a 150-lb. Mastiff / Saint Bernard cross. Buster weights about 8-lbs., but his "uncle" Teddy raised him, and he helped raise Max as his little "nephew". He is completely comfortable with the two big dogs.
Well-behaved dogs (with current vaccination record and Rabies tag) are welcome. Your pet must be socialized to cope well with other animals.
Your pet must stay on a leash when outside our fenced dog-yard. A dog who, innocently, chases wildlife or livestock, can be injured - or could cause injury to others. Safety is our most important objective.
There is no additional charge for guest dogs. However, you are expected to provide food and care for your own pet -- and to be responsible for any damage that he/she might cause.
